Our members are designers in all design disciplines, at all phases of their careers and consistently represent the designers most interested in advancing and leading their profession to new levels of excellence and influence. In their role as consultants on strategic communication, designers influence corporate selection of products and services, specifying the paper, printers, software, hardware and any product or service needed by their clients. As trendsetters, our members can help to position your company's product or service among a leading demographic that impacts style, taste and practice. They develop solutions that will be followed by others and create demand for what your company develops, manufactures or provides. Simply stated, AIGA members are the influencers and opinion leaders of design-both style and practice-in Kansas City and throughout the world.
An AIGA partnership can be extremely valuable to you. A partnership with AIGA provides your company with an opportunity to leverage sales through affinity marketing and targeted sampling, and offers a vehicle to reach a wide spectrum of designers as well as the important industry influencers.
Affinity. By establishing a link between your company and the premier association of professional designers your brand will remain top-of-mind throughout the design world.
Sampling. By placing your product or service in the hands of a influential creative group attention is brought to your product or service and is supported by an objective third party, AIGA. There is no other way to reach AIGA membership, since AIGA mailing lists are not available for sale or trade.
Reach. AIGA membership includes both young and seasoned design leaders. Events and programs help sponsors reach those who are leading change as well as those whose work is admired for its refinement, excellence and proven design sensibilities.
The use of a product or service expands geometrically and follows a tried and true course. It begins with access to a small group of influencers. It is validated by this group and then is transmitted to others. AIGA provides the influencers and facilitates the transmission of you product or service to others.
We offer a variety of ways to support AIGA Kansas City. Partner Levels and benefits:
Patron. Many of our basic chapter needs are supplied by patrons. Donations of paper, printing, and creative work supplied for chapter communications and event materials allow us to support a thriving Kansas City creative community. Patron benefits include:
- Printed recognition of your organization on any printed piece associated with your donation;
- and verbal recognition of your organization from the podium of the event associated with your donation.
Event Partner. Organizations that help the chapter present an AIGA Kansas City event will receive "event partner" status. This requires a in-kind and cash contribution based on the size of the event and the number of people expected to attend. Presenting partners benefits include:
- Printed recognition of your organization on any printed piece associated with your donation, recognition on the chapter website and in all email pertaining to the event;
- verbal recognition of your from the podium of the event associated with your donation;
- recognition in the sponsorship section of the AIGA Kansas City's website which can include a link to your organization's website;
- the ability to host a reception for all event attendees, the reception can include displays of your organization's products and services;
- a contact list of the event attendees;
- plus the ability to create and/or hold an additional workshop/event for all local members that can include discussions about your organization products or services.
Annual Partner. Being a partner at this level requires support valued at $10,000 and above (over a 12 month period), of which at least $5000 must be made though a cash donation. Annual partner benefits include:
- Printed recognition of your organization on all AIGA Kansas City printed pieces, recognition on the chapter's website and in all chapter event email;
- verbal recognition of your organization from the podium at all chapter events;
- the ability to promote your organization as a AIGA Kansas City chapter Annual Partner and the opportunity for one (1) board approved mailing to the entire membership;
- the ability to host a social event for all local members at which your organization's products and services are highlighted;
- plus four complimentary tickets to all chapter events during the year in which you donate.
