Christine is a multi-disciplinary designer who has taken a round about way into the design profession. After receiving a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, she worked at various mental health treatment facilities in Austin and Atlanta as a child care counselor, crisis line counselor and a manager for Charter Hospital's crisis line before realizing she was meant to do something in the creative industry.

She pursued graduate studies at Portfolio Center in Atlanta where she worked part-time as a paperie store clerk and as an designer/art director/account manager/editor at small design firm based in a photography, pre-production and imaging studio. After graduation, she left Atlanta for Kansas City to work for Hallmark Cards. At Hallmark she has worked as a designer for Hallmark Loyalty, Hallmark's Marketing Design Studio and in Hallmark Gift Books. Currently she is a License Creative Account Manager in Hallmark's Licensing Design Studio working with licensor's such as LucasFilm, Dr. Seuss, Dreamworks, Harley-Davidson and HIT Entertainment.

Her work has been recognized in local, national and international competitions such as HOW's International Design Competition, Print's Design That Means Business, International DMA Awards, AIGA KC Awards, KC Ad Club Omni's, Atlanta Addy's and Show South. In addition, her work has been published in Graphis, HOW, Print, CMYK and Rockport Publishing. For the last five years, she has done freelance design and art direction for local theatres, bars and nonprofit charitable organizations around Kansas City. She has served on the AIGA KC board since 2003. Outside of work and volunteering, Christine enjoys film and music and takes on side projects that highlight these hobbies. She currently dj's with the electro dj collective, Nomathmatics.
